Porky Chops

Sunday, January 30th, 2005

One night, we were bored and didn’t know what to cook for dinner, I suddenly thought of making Pork Chops. Well, actually, ask him to make Pork Chops. Having no experience with Pork Chops…i encouraged him to go ahead and experiment. Since there’s mangos in the fridge, I decided to make Mango Salsa to go with his Pork Chops.

So, we created Pork Chops served with Mango Salsa and Green Vegetables. YEAH!

The next day, we both had diarrhea. Hahaa…..

Secret Affections

Wednesday, January 12th, 2005

My dad has his own secret way of showing his affections. On my last night in Melbourne, daddy sms me - “do you want to eat Popeyes tomorrow?” Translation: “Do you want me to pick you up at the airport tomorrow?”

Today over dinner, I was just telling dad that KL is coming back for the Lunar New Year. He said that he is expected to give his parents Red Packets since he is working now. I said that he is broke now. Dad asked if it’s because I visited him. In response, I said that I brought enough spending money. He then said, “Is it why your hands now very heavy?” Hehee….he noticed the ring. Hehee….how clever!
