I woke up at about 7am this morning. Thats coz I usually wake up about 10am in Koala Land. I called GL and BS to meet for brekkie. The plan was to wave goodbye to NL when she leaves for work in the morning. Hehee… BS was going to feign a MC to spend the day with me. GL was unemployed. I have the greatest friends.
Since BS was still at the clinic with his fake flu and GL needed time to get ready to get out, I wasted time lingering around at home and then mum followed me to the market. We saw that the queue at the gambling shop was really short, I took out $10 (Aunty Lily’s CNY angbao) to try my luck with the $10million draw - maybe I could buy our own home in Koala Land. So when I arrived for brekkie, GL and BS was already there. *Shites!
I ordered my favourite morning breakfast noodles with at least 5 items. Haha… Naturally, I couldn’t finish my food, so I gave my taiwan sausage and luncheon meat to BS, who was eating vegetarian beehoon. Hahaa.. Oh, during brekkie, mum came to join us (*roll eyes*).
After brekkie, we went back to BS’s place. I can’t remember why we needed to go there. The moment we entered, BS kept repeating, “Ignore Bailey…Ignore Bailey… Ignore bailey”, like a broken record. But GL and I still went to his pen and went all hysterical. We were suddenly talking in puppy language, I think I heard BS grumbling that he wanted to train the dog, but we just kind of ruin it. Hahaa… I realised I somehow developed an allergy sore on my upper lip and stuffy nose. I had to get to the pharamacy - I’m allergic to home. Last time also same thing.
So after a long time lazing at BS’s place, we decided to head to Suntec. No time already because GL needed to go to school to see the kids - results out today. I don’t understand why when it was nice and sunny, it didn’t occur to us to get out. It was raining cats and dogs when we went out.
We braved the pouring rain and made it to the bus stop only to have the bus “nearly” splash water at us. We board the bus and I took out tissue paper to clean my feet. GL went, “Ewww… we’re in public!” I ignored her coz we were sitting at the back in a rather empty bus on a Friday weekday afternoon. Then she stick her shoeless feet towards me and said, “Nar! Help me clean.” What the fuck? We were laughing like a pack of hyenas when BS wiped his feet on GL’s pants. Ewww!!! Disgusting!!! Wah lau! Below is a picture of BS’s fat and practically hairless leg.
We got to Suntec, I got a little disorientated because it was lunch hour and there was a lot of people everywhere. I felt giddy and so we sat at Aunt Pretzels and ate ourselves silly while waiting for the pharmacist to come back so I can get my allergy medication. BS managed to buy a few business shirts, GL got herself a new pair of shoes and I got nothing. I wonder who was on a shopping mission. Kanasai!
As GL had to go off to the school, BS and me headed for Parkway Parade. That’s home based for us. Wow! Parkway has changed so much - so High Crass now! Anyway, I managed to buy a lot more stuff at Parkway and hang out with BS waiting for NL to finish work and GL to come back to meet us for dinner. I’m glad I managed to spend some decent quality time with my other favourite man of my life. We had Kaya Roti and Teh Peng, talked about how I should stop worrying about dad and that I should just put my time and energy on my chosen path in Koala Land instead of looking back.
That night, we had Sushi at Parkway - just like old times. Strangely, we didn’t eat as much as we did. I wonder if it’s because we are getting older or BS and me haven’t had our Kaya Roti digested yet.
Its cool now that BS and NL is living so near my place, we could share a cab back. I went back, called MT to ask her out although I was super exhausted. Luckily for me, her brother took the car and so we chatted on the fone for over 2hours - she fell asleep before me. Wah Lau. Then I telephone Aunty Anna and spoke to her on the fone for nearly 2hours. She spoke most of the time actually. I think I kind of fell asleep somehow.
