Was woken up in the morning by GL but still managed to fall asleep again because it was freaking 7am!! When it was time to wake up again, KL said that GL in the toilet so we refused to wake up until she came out. Little did we know, GL was already wandering the streets of Bangkok, and quite possible at some gem factory. She left us a note to text her when we wake up.

We had breakfast at the hotel without her. And re-group when we came back to the room to poop. Complained to GL about being interrupted in my sleep this morning. According to her, she was already trying to be really quiet in the room. I told her that I don’t think counting coins and ruffling plastic bags are considered quiet activities. *hmpf!

Anyway, we got dressed and sprayed (antiperspirant)for the heat in Chuptuchup. And off to the train station we go.

Chuptuchup is at the last station so BS spent the entire time irritating me with his Spiderpig song. And because I am so easily influenced, I spent the entire time shopping in Chuptuchup with the song in my head. ARGH!

I was too busy shopping to take much photos. But here are the ones I took. Too bad they don’t allow pictures of the puppies but they are the cutest thing.

The heat wasn’t too bad, I thought. Maybe I was expecting worse. Then again, it was cloudy and rained. I don’t think we managed to even walk half of it. I thought Chuptuchup has changed quite a lot since KL and I was last there (nearly 10 years ago). I have changed. I can’t haggle as much, don’t have much stamina and I don’t get easily excited now.

After that, we were hungry and went to Siam Paragon for lunch. Trust me, at that time, we were really exhausted.

Did I mention that the food court at Siam Paragon is amazing? So many thing, I don’t know what to order.

Because of my damn ulcerS on my throat, I ordered Pork and rice:

Of course, KL also ordered Papaya Salad and Mango Sticky rice.

After late lunch, we went to the supermarket. Don’t laugh at me because I bought 12 packs of Colgate Toothpaste. It’s expensive in Melly okay? I wanted to stock up on sanitary products too but everything was in thai and I didn’t want to buy the wrong stuff. The other couple shopped as if they are in NTUC. Buying everything in bulk.

After that, the boys went back to the hotel to dump the shopping and also to fall asleep. The girls explored Paragon. GL got bored in the accessories department and when upstairs. NL and I probably spent too much time there and GL got bored and decided to go back to the hotel to sleep.

We went Kinokuniya because NL said that the books are cheaper. KL did some calculation and confirmed it. So, he bought a few.

Siam Paragon is pretty crowded huh?

That night, we tabao food back to the hotel for dinner. GL was already asleep, we showered and played cards. KL and I went off to get a couple’s thai massage, while the other couple went to bed.

The massage was alright but I didn’t feel very relax. In fact, I had a butch masseuse who kept going to areas that tickled me. She even shhh me for laughing.
